Position Summary:

The VP Loan Servicing will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee the Loan Servicing functions in the organization. This individual will lead the team responsible for Loan Servicing including managing a Sub Servicer for both interim and retained portfolios, ensure all processes are operating efficiently and effectively, and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and investor guidelines.

Pay Disclosure:

The starting base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $155,000 annually. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Work Location:

This position is primarily located in the Corporate Headquarters in Santa Ana, CA. The successful candidate will work in the office with the occasional ability for hybrid work from home 1 to 2 days a week maximum.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the loan servicing team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Evaluate, identify, and implement process improvement initiatives aligned to our key values.
• Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure all loan servicing activities are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with SubServicer, investors, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure a high level of service and compliance.
• Establish, track, and maintain SLAs with post-closing stakeholders and sub-servicer.
• Strong technical expertise for reporting and workflow development.
• Audit and write operational P & Ps as needed.

Competencies:

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing loan servicing functions.
• Experience in Joint Venture channels preferred.
• Proven leadership abilities and an understanding of the of the federal regulations and laws governing the mortgage business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Requires team player mentality, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting our Kind Culture.
