Works to optimize clinical work processes. Responsible for coordinating aspects of analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of purchased or internally developed clinical information system and back office applications. Provides application support for integrations with newly affiliated offices.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and participates in aspects of system analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of clinical information systems.
  • Coordinates and participates in efforts toward maintaining components of DPM systems including revisions, testing, and integration of changes in components.
  • Provides application support, including problem analysis, user assistance queries, application issues/enhancement requests, systems upgrades and quality monitoring.
  • Participates in the development of basic tenets and principles into operable policies, procedures, systems, methods, instruction guides and training aids for system-wide application.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding and work knowledge of the current customer facing and back office applications, their functions and relationship to other information systems within the enterprise.
  • Maintains accurate project documentation to include but not limited to minutes, issues reports, status reports, cost reports, benefit measurements, project schedules and key decisions.
  • Performs software testing and verification during the software life-cycle.
  • Produces status reports on his or her activities as requested.
  • Observes all company safety policies, procedures and practices. Immediately notes and corrects any safety hazards. Immediately notifies supervisor of any hazards he or she is unable to correct.
  • Performs other job related responsibilities as requested.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Creates software documentation for new product releases.
  • Provides software support functions, answering user questions on product usage and functionality.
