Job Description


Pay Rate $18.50 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

  • To maintain the integrity of the warehouse perpetual inventory records and to receive and distribute materials to users from the warehouse.
  • Indicate the major day-to-day problems you encounter, and in the solution of these problems, what actions you may take independently and what requires approval by higher authority.
  • Safe and proper methods of loading and unloading materials, when and how to respond to emergency situations regarding inadequate material stock availability.
  • Issuing of materials, and receipt of materials.
  • Stock substitutions, removal of stock other than through and issue, adjusting perpetual inventory records.
  • Initiate fabrication work orders, stock and non-stock orders and perform follow up.
  • Process new stock request and changes.
  • Identify and track obsolete and duplicate stock
  • Monitor for accuracy and further action, various inventory transaction documents and inventory reports.
  • Perform warehousing, stocking, issuing, staging and housekeeping functions.
  • all other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a perpetual inventory valued between $675,000 - $850,000
  • Maintain 99% transactional accuracy for the perpetual inventory.

Qualifications
  • Minimum one year combined experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, and inventory control
  • Strong numerical aptitude/computer skills/10 key by touch
  • Good vocabulary and telephone etiquette skills
  • Dependable
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Operate material handling equipment
  • Ability to physically lift 70 pounds
