Under direction, the Information Systems Administrator II (ISA2) in the Customer Services Support Division plans, supervises, and participates in life cycle activities associated with the development, implementation, maintenance, and replacement of major information systems and applications including business process analysis, specification design, preliminary database design, business recovery strategies, security, testing and training; serve as functional team project managers, who plan, oversee and control timelines, work processes and deliverables associated with meter-to-cash operations, systems development activities; and performs related duties as required.
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the incumbent will direct and provide leadership to staff responsible for system administration of the District’s Customer Information System (CIS) and its interfaces with other systems used by multiple divisions within, and outside of the Customer and Community Services Department to support Customer Service Program related IT projects.
In addition, the incumbent must be able to establish and foster effective, cooperative work relationship with others at all levels within the EBMUD organization, include information systems, programming, and technical staff.

The salary range is $12,889 per month increasing to $13,533, $14,210, and $14,920 after 6, 18, and 30 months, respectively.

1. A bachelor’s degree with major work in business or public administration, finance, information systems, computer science, or field closely related to the system where the position is assigned.
2a. Four years of programming, systems analysis, or other related technically based computer support experience for a business information system, OR
2b. Four years of experience coordinating and participating in end user support services with a centralized information technology organization in order to develop functional system design specifications and reporting requirements, determine preliminary design, systems administration and system testing.
