SUMMARY:

Expert specialized in a specific high-tech area of knowledge for industrialization/manufacturing (LM, MTM, ergonomics, simulation tools, cost analysis, etc.). Support local, country and OD needs in the Industrial / Manufacturing area. Aid in and assure the implementation of global best practices. Competency in the areas of manufacturing supply chain. Understands the impact of variation in customer demand on supply chain performance.

  • Interprets value stream maps to identify opportunities and issues
  • Understands the necessity to constantly match output to long term average demand while continuously monitoring demand level and volatility Manufacturing Shop floor Mgt Understands the cost and lead-time impacts of 3rd party logistics, transportation and inventory levels
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management fundamentals such as (Kanban calculations, ABC application/use, Lead-time/lot size analysis, and Safety stock levels, BOM structure, etc)
  • Conducts value add/non-value add analysis (useful time analysis)
  • Creates and interprets value stream maps
  • Understands how to design line layout, workstations and material presentation that minimize waste and balances work content and conducts takt/cycle time analysis
  • Interprets diagnostic results
  • Conducts changeover analysis, material handling analysis and overall equipment effectiveness Manufacturing performance Calculates and reports KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)/Process Metrics
  • Calculates and assesses process capabilities (Cpk, Sigma level, % yield)
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma Manufacturing Process Design Specifies and procures tooling, assembly systems, manufacturing equipment
  • Implements TPM concepts and measures the effectiveness
  • Designs line layout, workstations, fixtures, machine guarding, gages, processes, equipment, and material presentation that minimize waste and balance work content
  • Uses MES systems/ manufacturing software and responsible for digital transformation projects.
  • Interprets simulation models and use the information to optimize processes Manufacturing Layout Design Understands application of all (Lean) SPS principles
  • Understands layout design and implementation of entire facility with multiple work centers
  • Applies process simulation modeling, interpreting, and optimizing
  • Understands manufacturing execution systems and manufacturing software Continuous quality improvement Identifies basic root causes and effectively implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Understands the DMAIC( Define/Measure/Analyze/Improve/Control) methodology
  • Understands and utilizes scorecards, dashboards, and other visual management tools to evaluate accuracy of data collected Quality Design Ability to apply basic Quality tools: conduct DFMEA, Functional Analysis of the needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field of Engineering
  • Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
  • 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience in Excel, Macros, SQL, and Tableau
  • Project Management exprience (Preferred)
  • Lean Certification - Six Sigma (Preferred)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
