Plant Manager/Production Supervisor

Our precast concrete company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager/Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a background in architectural precast and have PCI/ACI Certifications. A 4-year degree is highly preferred, and a business degree would be ideal. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and running our plant operations to ensure we exceed our customers' expectations while meeting our production goals.This position requires concrete experienc.


Responsibilities:

  • Commit to plant safety procedures and ensure compliance with all local and Federal EHS requirements
  • Upkeep and maintain the facility and all the equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency
  • Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers' expectations
  • Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
  • Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions to ensure efficient operations
  • Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff to maintain a high-performance team
  • Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime and develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a Plant Manager/Production Supervisor role in commercial construction
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working with precast through a contractor
  • Experience in architectural precast is a must
  • PCI/ACI Certifications
  • 4-year degree highly preferred, with a business degree being ideal.
  • Concrete experiences required
