Hours are M-F 7am to 4:30pm and every 4th weekend.
Job Summary
The Journeyman Electrician plans, organizes, and directs the day-to-day electrical operations. Oversees major and minor project work related to power generation systems and electrical systems. Responsible for providing electrical, computer, and telephone wiring assistance services in a safe, professional manner employing all current, acceptable practices. Coordinates and supervises contract services to perform electrical layout for all assigned projects. Knowledgeable in trade procedures and practices. May be required to assist other Construction Services trades to complete projects. May assist with data and telephone wiring assistance services. Able to differentiate colors precisely.
Experience in the electro/mechanical or electrical/pneumatic control field. Basic knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and applications and controls, installation and repair necessary. Adept in the use of hand tools, gauges, engineering metering and measuring devices. Able to work from blueprints, schematics and technical manuals. Ability to explain conditions and situations accurately when troubleshooting. Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of a four year apprenticeship required.
Must hold an Journeyman Electrical License for applicable states where work is performed. May require applicable City
license. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving
record.
