Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $102,500 per year to $113,900 per year depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company. ​

The Manager Provisioning delivers on that Purpose by managing and supporting Provisioning Agents and Supervisors at our Oakland (OAK) Station to ensure high-quality service and on-time performance for our Custo mers . The Manager Provisioning is a strong communicator that can multi-task in a fast-paced environment while leading and motivating a Team.

A dditional details :
A role that includes working assigned shifts based on seniority. Shifts can include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Customers

Works in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our Company

Provides effective leadership of local operation to assure high quality service and on time performance to Southwest Airlines Customers

Assures proper administration of labor contracts or agreements, emphasizing minimal labor disputes

Administers programs to develop employee talents

Selects, trains, and evaluates Provisioning Agents and Supervisory personnel

Maintains effective control of Company resources, monitors expenditures, and accomplishes goals established locally and system-wide

Monitors the quality, quantity and procurement of provisioning supply purchases

Maintains a safe working environment and institutes programs designated to help reduce accidents and injuries

Coordinates the distribution of all necessary provisioning supplies to non-provisioning stations and provides those station personnel with adequate training and support for the provisioning functions

May perform SIDA signatory responsibilities as assigned

May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leader, including special projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to work well with others as part of a Team

Possess good written and oral communications, effective leadership style, problem solving and good employee relations

Must be aware of hazardous situations and be able to handle emergencies, as needed

Ability to understand and administer all regulations including federal, security and FDA

Ability to work under tight time constraints

Ability to effectively communicate verbally by telephone, radio, face-to-face, and public address systems

Demonstrate the ability to Lead and Motivate

Ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet demands of job

Ability to meet the public and work well under stressful situations

Proficient in several computer software packages including Microsoft Office products and operational tools

Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Must have a understanding of airlines and cross-departmental and Ground Ops functions Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
Education

Required: High School Diploma or GED

Preferred: College degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred: Graduate of the Southwest Airlines MIT program

Experience

Required: Knowledge of airline flight line and/or airline provisioning experience

Preferred: Management experience in Provisioning

Licensing/Certification

Required: a valid U.S. driver's license

Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge and meet all local airport requirements

May be required by Station Leadership to obtain a Customs Seal and meet all requirements to work international flights

Physical Abilities

Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting (50lbs.), standing, sitting, driving, pulling, pushing, squatting, hearing, climbing, walking, kneeling, reaching, crawling, writing, and speaking

Other Qualifications

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines

Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Extended work hours and travel may be required
