Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking an after-hours, roving Security Guard “contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for assisting the facility and physical security office managers in the day-to-day operations of the site.
• Apply knowledge of the latest rules, procedures, and methods of safeguarding information and controlling access to restricted areas.
• Contact command/site personnel and site military security personnel for the purpose of providing information or to resolve operating problems.
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Prepares incident reports.
• Provides 100% accuracy in granting access only to properly cleared and authorized visitors.
• Become familiar with and utilize command/site Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and alarm station.
• Conduct detailed turnovers with command/site supervisors and personnel; conduct and complete end-of-shift checklists.
• Develops and maintains relationships, with customers, security managers, and co-workers.
• Assists in development, maintenance, and execution of standard operating procedures, and ensures all are in alignment with operations.
• Position requires shift work and/or work on rotating shifts to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays and in other situations.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience working in government or related setting.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and process information and requests from external and internal personnel.
• Attention to detail and deadlines as well as strong critical thinking skills.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Security Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Requires final DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to upgrade and maintain SCI access. No open investigations.
