Salary: $15.95 - 18.50 per hour
Reference: MNT TEC 5/16(1)

Looking for a Maintenance Technician to fill the role ASAP

As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist the maintenance department to ensure the smooth running of operations and create high-quality products. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the plant's building and equipment, and you must possess general mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Technician:

  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Perform basic mechanical skills, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting of production machines
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments as needed
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machines and production equipment
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service
  • Participate in the coordination of expansion/reorganization projects
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail with a sense of urgency
  • Self-starter dedicated to continuous quality improvement
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Multi-tasking and shifting from one job to the next with confidence
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred
