Job Description


THE POSITION
:

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Specialist plays a critical role developing and nurturing new business opportunities with pharmaceutical, biotech and biopharmaceutical companies. As EVERSANA offers a full array of commercialization services to solve complex biopharma challenges, the Specialist will be responsible for proactively engaging life sciences leaders to secure meetings and generate new business relationships.

Successful candidates will have a great attitude, diligence for cold outreach and get a thrill from securing and engaging new prospective clients. This role will maintain consistent warm and cold outreach through sales engagement technology, across email, phone, voicemail, and LinkedIn outreach. This individual will maintain a current prospect list and consistently find new relevant prospects using technologies including but not limited to:

  • Salesforce.com
  • High Velocity Sales (Sales Engagement)
  • ZoomInfo
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Drift
  • Excel
  • DocuSign

Success will be defined by new meetings generated for senior leadership to support the strategic growth of the company. This individual will have a high degree of collaboration with colleagues across the globe in various positions of leadership. This role has wide exposure within a matrix organization and opportunity for growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls and emails
  • Leveraging all tools and technologies and keeping Salesforce.com up to date
  • Research new sales prospects using tools such as online industry analytics, development pipelines, client lists, and press releases
  • Consistently research and participate in internal training to ensure understanding of customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Ensure leads are properly followed up
  • Meet monthly/quarterly metrics and targets
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects
  • Write relevant and captivating emails that open conversations with prospects

  • All other duties as assigned

  • Experience and/or Training (1-2 years of inside sales or outbound sales experience)
  • Licenses/Certificates (N/A)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education (Bachelor’s degree required)
  • Experience and/or Training (2 years of demonstrated success generating new business meetings)
  • Licenses/Certificates (N/A)
  • Technology/Equipment (Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)

Office:
While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands. Maintain a secure and stable environment to work remotely and be camera-ready for internal and external meetings.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
