Experience Requirements:
  • Technical experience supporting Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) software development and integration programs to include system requirements, operational requirements, data analysis, technology analysis and assessment, design definition, development of system specifications, systems analysis, systems architecture, systems/equipment integration and support, and test & evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience applying lifecycle methodologies within software, hardware, and operational environments
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and direct experience implementing software development lifecycle models (e.g., Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.) concepts, practices, and processes
  • Technical experience that includes design, development, test and evaluation, network protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows-based operating systems
  • High-level attention to detail and the ability to track various projects, tasks, schedules, and competing priorities
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
  • Process-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma / GED, required.
  • Technical Training in Software Engineering, Computer Science and/or Systems Administration, required
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferred
  • Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe certification(s), desired
  • Obtained and/or working towards the following certifications, desired:
o Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) OR a Red Hat® Certified System Administrator (RHCSA); a certification that meets the requirements for IAT level 3 (i.e., Security + CISSP)
o Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Penetration Tester (CPT), Certified Expert Penetration Tester (CEPT), Certified Web Application Penetration Tester (CWAPT), and Certified Reverse Engineering Analyst (CREA), DISCO certification for Infosec Security Specialist
o Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or with COR approval, complete a vendor/platform-specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), etc.)

  • Have or be eligible for a SECRET clearance
