Position:

Go2Permitting is looking to hire an Associate Project Manager to help the Project Manager with day-to-day project tasks as well as helping with the overall success of projects. The Associate Project Manager will report directly to the Project Manager and will be helping with all needs required to bring the project to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify all jurisdictions, departments and disciplines involved based upon the project's location and scope of work.
  • Confirm all review types along with their process, timing, and fees based on project's location and scope of work.
  • Ascertain all jurisdictional contact information, applications, forms, and documents required for project specific submittals/ resubmittals.
  • Create submittal matrixes, description letters, letter of authorizations (LOAs), response letters, transmittals, shipping labels, and project presentations for each review type along with also creating project timelines/ schedule and project status.
  • Complete applications and coordinate with the development team for any additional items and/ or information needed to submit/ resubmit the project and prepare project for full submittal/ resubmittal.
  • Schedule meetings for submittals, resubmittals, clarity on comments, and clarity on responses.
  • Perform submittals/ resubmittals either in-person, by mail, or digitally online.
  • Make phone calls and send emails to all applicable plan checkers to obtain responses on reviews and for getting questions answered.
  • Obtain comments and/or approvals from Authorities Having Jurisdictions (AHJs) either in-person, by mail, or digitally online and send out to the client and development team.
  • Attend project meetings with the development team and present project status updates.
  • Setup projects and utilize company’s project management software for tracking notes, adding time, and maintaining project schedules. Save and manage files in shared drive.
  • Complete timesheets on a weekly basis.
  • Upload all expense receipts to project management software as they are occurred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to learn company’s project management tool
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Skilled researcher, fact-finder and problem solver
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the commercial development industry preferred but not required. Must be willing to get to know and learn a new industry.
  • Ability to read construction drawings preferred but not required
  • Ability to work with little supervision while performing duties
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel 10 to 20%
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
