Location: Grand Rapids, MI/Local

Pay Range: $50,000-$58,000 Base Pay, based on experience

Job Type: Full-Time Exempt (Salaried)

Job Overview:

The data analyst supports Family Futures’ programming and leadership by providing insights gained from analyzing organizational data. This position will produce data reports and review data to inform organizational growth and improvement, as well as identify additional software and/or resources needed for analysis. This position will also identify opportunities to use data at the community level and collaborate with external partners. The data analyst will also work with team members to identify data collection and data maintenance processes to ensure accurate and sustainable data practices.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Create data reports and analytics for program leads, external partners, funders, and other entities as needed
  • Gather and perform statistical analysis on data from program databases
  • Work with staff to identify data-driven solutions for projects and quality improvement efforts
  • Data formatting and maintenance as needed to ensure consistency and readability
  • Create and maintain a standard operating procedure for data management
  • Export data from software systems and program tracking logs for Family Futures reporting
  • Lead and manage multiple projects, delegate tasks in a timely manner, and prioritize based on organizational needs
  • Support the development and maintenance of results-based accountability reports for evaluating programs
  • Manage interactive platforms that serve families and community
  • Supervise team member(s)

Education and Experience:

A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related feild.


Required Skills:

  • Experience selecting and querying a database using SQL
  • Ability to work with APIs to create automated/simplified reporting procedures
  • Creative and technical ability to create useful and informative dashboards in tableau
  • High proficiency in using Excel and Microsoft Access
  • Ability to handle and manage confidential data and information with integrity
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as Python and R.
