The Brookland Dog Walking Company has been proudly serving NE DC and beyond since 2011.

We are looking for an experienced dog trainer to provide in-home sessions and training walks for our clients. CCPDT certification preferred, but other certifications and relevant work experience will also be considered. If selected, you will work with management and staff as Lead Trainer and share responsibilities for expanding our training division and growing the company.

Starting pay for a one-hour obedience session is $60-75. Rates for other training services (walks, behavioral, client meetings) will vary.

There is the option to perform non-training duties, such as dog walking, house sitting, and boarding services, for extra income.

This position has the potential to transition into a full-time role with a benefits package that includes: health/vision/dental insurance, paid time off, training course/exam reimbursement, and bonuses.

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Dog training: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Dog Training Certificate (Preferred)
