About Rolling Hills Country Club:

Established in 1965, Rolling Hills Country Club is a private, family-friendly country club perched upon the rolling hills of Palos Verdes Peninsula with expansive skyline views of the Los Angeles Basin and San Gabriel Mountains. The construction of the new clubhouse and golf course in 2017 brought a new vision of excellence. A brand-new championship golf course designed by world-renowned golf architect, David McLay Kidd. Job Purpose:

Mix and serve drinks to members and guests, directly or through wait staff.


Tasks:

  • Check identification of members/guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
  • Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to members excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
  • Stock bar with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.
  • Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from members.
  • Clean bars, work areas, and tables.
  • Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.

  • Assist patrons to make wine selection.

  • Check ID to ensure minimum age requirement is met.
  • Clean rooms or work areas.
  • Serve food or beverages.
  • Understand government alcoholic beverage service regulations.
  • Recognize customer intoxication.
  • Any other duties that may apply or that are assigned.
  • Follow all procedure manuals and safety.
