WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR


Reports to:
Director of Operations

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt


The Warehouse Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing operations within the warehouse. This includes managing the daily flow of supplies coming into and going out of the warehouse along with maintenance/organization functions. This position requires a person who can make quick judgments and sound decisions. The Warehouse Coordinator must be detail oriented and will need to be able to work in a Team/Group environment, as well as independently without constant supervision.


Job Duties:

  • Maintain precise inventory of all product lines daily through proper order receiving and editing, accurate order pulling and checking, and thorough stocking and organization.
  • Manage all open orders to make sure we are getting product on time.
  • Receive orders into our system and verify pricing is correct to ensure proper inventory values.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and end of month counts for all inventory.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
  • Manage vendor relationships.
  • Place and track orders in progress to ensure on time delivery.
  • Properly assign inventory to all work orders to ensure customer is billed properly.
  • Process defective returns according to company and vendor policies and procedures.
  • Track inventory from vendor to warehouse to customer in our internal inventory system.
  • Load and unload shipments from all delivery vehicles and common carriers.
  • Professionally and politely, assist customers and employees as needed.
  • Create and update documents using Microsoft Office products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility.
  • Assist other departments within the company as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Professional email etiquette is expected.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be willing to perform errands by operating company vehicle if needed.
  • Ability to follow instructions and directions thoroughly.
  • Must abide by all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Must be willing to work any required overtime if needed.
  • Must be flexible to work occasional weekends if needed.
  • Punctual attendance and excellent time management skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience operating a forklift is desired; must be able to pass forklift certification and operate forklift in warehouse locations utilizing a forklift.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience supporting inventory or warehouse operations.

Employment Conditions:

  • Must be able to operate a company truck
  • A valid driver’s license is required (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years).
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to grasp, sit, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.
  • Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering, and using the telephone.
  • Ability to lift to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds using a pallet jack or pallet stacker.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to be on your feet for and moving for up 8-10 hours a day as workload permits.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
