Organization information:

Windom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, hematology/oncology, ENT, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day.

Windom Area Health is committed to offering obstetrics services, which many rural hospitals are no longer providing due to volume and cost associated. A fitness center and group exercise classes are also available to the community members.

Our mission is “Dedicated to Health”, which directs our decision making and services on a daily basis. We have a management agreement with Sanford Health and are owned by the City of Windom.

Job Details:

Windom Area Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist (.7 FTE) for our growing surgery department. Responsibilities include providing superior patient care through surgery, procedures, and central supply activities. May take call. Must be a graduate of accredited surgical tech program. Experience and AST certification preferred. Ortho experience helpful.

Pay: $23.74 - $35.61 per hour
