Job Description

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Perform a number of different and important responsibilities in the Pre-hanging / Pre-finishing operation to include Material receiving, material & product movement, product shipping and production support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, audit, inspect, ID, and put away incoming material to proper locations
• Maintain housekeeping and organization in warehouse and other material location areas
• Maintain correct inventories by moving materials in computer when physically moving materials
• Assists assigned production areas when not moving materials
• Ensure the product and or materials meet quality expectations
• Notify Group Leader and / or Supervisor of improvement opportunities
• Support area needs to remove empty pallets, trash, and recycle type materials
• Service the SOS Lines door slab & materials mini mart with needed material components
• Service the SOS/Stock Lines & Specials Area with pallets & wood components from outside
• Assist the SOS Lines & Specials area with removal of completed product to stretch-wrap (as needed)
• Order wood components/cardboard components/foam for SOS/Stoc/Lowes PL daily as needed
• Responsible for adhering to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• High School graduate or GED
• TT OSHA Forklift Certification or be willing to get one
• Previous experience in material handling responsibilities in a production environment
