We’re currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with our senior level accounting team, our clients, and their accountants to manage the progress of their business accounting maintenance and month-end close plans while monitoring for accuracy and efficiency. Please note: This position is fully on-site.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Manage and organize all documents supporting financial transactions
  • Manage accounting files / systems
  • Record financial transactions to the general ledger
  • Responsible for accurate input of data into accounting systems
  • Manage deadlines for compliance and monthly payments
  • Record and process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Help with Month End Close process: Bank Reconciliations/Journal Entries
  • Interface with vendors and other internal department
  • Complete other duties at the discretion of management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required, Associates or Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of Bookkeeping/Accounting (Full Cycle) work experience required
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks experience required – QuickBooks certification a plus
  • Ambitious and motivated to learn
  • Proficient with the latest technology; can quickly learn and manage multiple software platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
