Primary Role
As a Digital Solutions Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of a rapidly growing technology team at Oncourse Home Solutions. You will play a critical part in supporting both ongoing and new IT initiatives for our digital channels that drive business growth and will have the opportunity to collaborate with members across many functional areas. Our team driven atmosphere and strong leadership provides continued opportunities for growth and progression throughout OHS and the Technology team.
Leveraging foundational business analysis skills you will support the ongoing improvement of our web experience as well as complex, high-profile digital projects, with several business departments, and provide guidance to fellow business analysts.
To be successful, you must be highly motivated a self-starter who is technical, analytical, and capable of driving digital solutions from concept to reality.
Key Accountabilities
  • Translate business strategies and objectives into business requirements.
  • Provide traceability of business requirements to IT solutions and ensure system testing encompasses existing capabilities of the solution as well as future function point requirements.
  • Facilitate working sessions to elicit requirements from stakeholders and team-members.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to translate business strategies and objectives into epic stories and user stories.
  • Manage the product backlog and roadmap.
  • Analyze, design, and document “as is” and “to be” business processes.
  • Ensures development community has a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
  • Support the business in conducting and facilitating final acceptance tests for solutions with the user community, including development of UAT test scenarios and test scripts.
  • Develops, delivers and evaluates training and supplemental materials. Partners with business and IT to manage scope with each release.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Digital Communications, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related technical field.

Knowledge
  • You are familiar with UX/UI best practices (particularly in ecommerce or subscription models)
  • You are familiar with concepts such as user-centric design, personas, user research and common tools and methods.
  • You understand website architecture and aesthetics.
  • You have a firm understanding of relational databases, database structures and design, and data management.
  • You have a moderate SQL knowledge.
Experience
  • 5+ years of prior experience as a Business Analyst
  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Communications, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related technical field.
  • Experience/curiosity about digital communications and being on a team that supports the delivery of websites to meet unique client needs.
  • Experience with ecommerce website and web application development
  • Experience with online Content Management Systems (CMS) software/platforms
  • Experience with web services integration, including defining and testing APIs
  • Strong User Experience background
  • Able to visualize and explain concepts on the fly using a whiteboard or the latest tools as well as have stellar documentation skills with hands on experience with MS Visio for use case diagrams, cross-functional process flows, entity relationship diagrams, etc.
  • Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for ongoing system enhancement initiatives in agile software development environments
  • Experience writing clear acceptance criteria to a testable level
  • Experience in all phases of product, software, and testing lifecycles
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Curious, self-motivated, independent
Certifications & Licenses: eCommerce and CMS Certification(s) a plus
Travel Requirements: 10% and as needed
Work Environment: 3-Office, 2-Remote (Mt.Laurel, NJ office preferred)
