• Provide psychology and related services for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring psychological conditions.
• Engage in the development of the patient’s individualized treatment plan.
• Review and modify or approve Category II and III behavior support plans written by the facility's staff.
• Utilize current clinical practices in the management of maladaptive behaviors in persons who are intellectually disabled.
• Immediately report incidents in accordance with DHS Policy 1090 and other applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
• Consult with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive services are provided.
• Provide professional court and other testimony as requested by the facility.
• Comply with all best practice standards for services to people with intellectual disabilities.
• Assist in creating patient-specific treatment plans and services.
