Job Description

The Project Manager role supports LandSolutions International's US based land acquisition operations and will manage projects and clients as directed by the Land Manager, USA.

The Project Manager is based remotely and coordinates projects, teams and manages field work for specific clients. You will ensure all work is being conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and LandSolutions' values and operating principles. This role will assist and guide the team and providing support and solutions, ensuring our services are always kept to a high standard, and that customers' needs are a priority.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for all communication with clients, administrator, agents, and for providing internal updates to management
  • Responsible for distribution and management of workloads and delegation of work to the agents based on client needs
  • Assist and provide guidance to administrator and agents regarding administration duties, acquisitions and field related issues
  • Assist in management of land agents, including ensuring consistent rates are being paid within an area, and that messaging to stakeholders is consistent with client and LandSolutions expectations
  • Strive for opportunities for new business
  • Assist in developing relationships with existing and potential clients and stakeholders
  • Actively participate in industry events and conferences

Competencies and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects and land acquisition campaigns required
  • Prior experience in business development is preferred
  • Prior experience in midstream pipeline, renewable power, telecommunications and oil and gas sectors in the United States is considered an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication and conflict management experience is required
  • Thorough knowledge of all applicable acts, guides, and regulations throughout Eastern US
  • Valid Driver's license required with clean drivers abstract
  • Strong understanding of MS 365 office products, including Outlook, Work, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and Planner
  • Ability to work under deadlines and time constraints
  • Ability to travel in the US at least 30% of time
