Education
· Minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Experience
· 10+ years working experience in operating facilities where heat and chemicals are incorporated.
· 5+ years’ experience as an Operations Manager.
· Production planning experience.
· Process improvement
· Unit operation functionality including the strengths and weaknesses of various unit operations and their limitations.
· Startup and commissioning experience is a plus.
· Knowledge of or familiarity with some of the following drying technologies, gasification, fluidized bed reactors, and/or materials handling are a plus.
Skills & Competencies
· Knowledge and experience in preparing and managing financial budgets.
· Ability to troubleshoot process unit operations based on experience and innovative problem-solving skills
· Good report writing and presentation skills
· Knowledge of reading and interpreting P&IDs, and electrical one-line, schematic, and logic diagrams.
· Knowledge of plant hazards and approaches to protecting both personnel and equipment.
· Knowledge of plant environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
· Ability to think holistically and creatively to introduce unique solutions to problems.
· Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
