Job Description
We are a boutique law practice with offices in Honolulu and Dallas looking for a 100% remote, part-time paralegal to join their team. Our practice is focused on transactional law, including private equity investments, corporate matters, and real estate. Our clients are high net worth individuals who expect concierge-level service from a small law practice. We have a small number of long-term clients. The candidate will ideally be on Pacific or Central time.
The Paralegal will have the following core responsibilities:
Draft, review, revise and proofread commercial real estate documents using the firm's templates, including conveyance documents and commercial leases
Draft corporate formation documents using the firm's templates, including limited liability company operating agreements
Maintain and organize client files in our practice management system, Lawmatics
Correspond with clients regarding their matter, and scheduling meetings
Proofreading
Conduct basic legal and other research for client matters The Paralegal will have the following qualifications and skills:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack
Background in using any major practice management software (Clio, MyCase, Practice Panther, Lawmatics)
Superior proofreading skills
Working familiarity with commercial leasing and complex real estate transactions
Interest in working in a startup culture with the opportunity to create systems, policies and procedures for the practice The company is building out its compensation plans and structure, and currently offers:
