This home-based (remote) position identifies crop protection & chemical testing opportunities throughout the US. The ideal candidate will have crop protection, chemical or labs experience, commercial and/or sales experience and effectively collaborates at all levels.
Achieve quarterly and annual lead generation goals as outlined in sales incentive comp plan.
Handle inbound client calls, qualifies leads and if appropriate grows client relationships at the appropriate levels.
Collaborate effectively with Business Development Directors in business unit; brings potential opportunities to their attention.
Effectively transfers accounts and client information to Business Development Directors.
Manage annual expense budget and submits expense reports for reimbursement on approval timelines.
Expand client requests upselling for business unit when possible.
Provide weekly sales activity report to management.
Develop client call cycle to achieve objectives and sales plan
Provide general intelligence on key competitors.
Sell the business unit’s capabilities leveraging differentiation framework
Recognize and communicates sales opportunities for other business units.
Establish and manage customer expectations.
Collaborate with companywide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction.
Organize and host client visits if required.
Use SFDC to manage internal communication and document territory and client information as required for the business unit.
Be responsible for Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline forecasting.
Maintain frequent email and phone contact with clients to grow and expand business relationships.
Leverage Marketing, SMEs and Operations Staff to support client discussions and heighten clients’ awareness of BU services.
Evaluate quotations and provides input to ensure client and company requirements are met.
Collaborate effectively with sales executives from other business units to bring potential opportunities to their attention.
Leverage Social Selling techniques and tools to reach clients through digital channels sharing information including Labcorp services, web conferences, industry meetings, SME news, etc.
Establish, nurture and grow client relationships at the appropriate level.
Bachelor’s degree in life science or business field
Experience in chemical or agrochemical business would be useful
Commercial/sales experience
Pay Range: $65-75k/year + Commissions
