The File Clerk is a Temporary position doing various projects.
Summary: To move and purge the hard copy of films, and dispose of them.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Responsible for purging, sorting, filing and disposing of film outdated medical record documents.
  • Files radiographic films, paperwork and subfolders accurately in patient files and file master folders accurately
  • Performs other duties as assigned
General Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality within the Inland Imaging companies and Inland’s customers.
  • Honest, pleasant manner, and good personal hygiene.
  • Free of alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Valid state drivers license and proof of insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, organized, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to consider individual needs in communication with and assessment and treatment of patients of all ages.

  • There is no supervisory responsibility in this position

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Employment Requirements: Must be above the age of 16, and able to provide proof of age by providing one of the following documents to be held at the employee’s physical work site:
Proof of Age:
o Birth Certificate
o Driver’s License
o Baptismal Record
o Notarized statement from parent or legal guardian
Personal Data:
o Name
o Address
o Date of Birth
o Copy of Employee’s Social Security Number
Proof of eligibility to be employed in the United States
o Completed I9 with supporting documentation
A parent/school authorization form completed:
o Completed by Inland Imaging, LLC
o Signed by employee’s parent and/or guardian
o Signed by a school representative if the student is working during the school year.
 This form must be renewed on an annual basis in September of every school year.
Meal & Rest Breaks Required:
o Uninterrupted meal period of at least 30 minutes when working for 5 or more hours a day
o 10 minute paid rest break for each four hours worked, and must receive a rest break at least every three hours
  • Experience: Entry level position; 0 to 6 months general clerical experience desired; medical terminology is desired
  • Background Check:
o In order to comply with provisions set forth in Sections 1128 and 1156 of the Social Security Act, all new employees of Inland Imaging, LLC will be checked against the LIST OF EXCLUDED INDIVIDUALS provided by the Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Inspector General (OIG). Employees must not be included on this list.
  • Drug Test: Eligible employees must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
