Job Description
The Account Manager is responsible for independently developing account strategies, managing new business implementations, resolving complex client issues, supporting Accounts Executives and Producers, and preparing proposals. They serve as the main point of contact for existing customers and determine client solutions, services, and products based upon their technical knowledge and previous customer interactions.
Given our best of technology and human strategy, this role will focus on the consultative value add activities, versus those that can be automated and digitized for market-leading client experience.
Responsibilities:

Independently develop account strategies to achieve sales and service goals.

Manage new business implementations to ensure seamless transitions for clients.

Resolve complex client issues and provide timely and effective solutions.

Support Account Executives and Producers in the sales process.

Prepare proposals and presentations for clients.

Serve as the main point of contact for existing customers.

Develop relationships with target clients and learn potential client business needs.

Determine client solutions, services, and products based upon their technical knowledge and previous customer interactions.

Independently promote services, design portfolios and solutions for potential clients, advise potential clients, and perform other consultative activities.

Build and maintain relationships with other professionals through which the employer indirectly increases its market share.

Requirements:

Proficient with digital quoting, marketing, binding and enrollment technology.

Licensed to market and bind coverage.

Works under little to no supervision.

Substantial product and client knowledge to engage meaningfully with customers.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
Education/Experience: At least 1 year experience in employee benefits industry, with 2 full years in a modern, fast-paced insurance environment. Through that experience, understands EDI process and can articulate the unique elements of an offering that will support individual client needs.

Pay Details:
Annual Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
