Job Description


The Project Manager, Digital Marketing (PMs) is responsible for overseeing the planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for the organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. The PM’s responsibility is to shepherd the team, stakeholders, and points of contact (POC’s) from initial ideation through to completion. They will coordinate with the Creative Director (CD), the creative team and its processes to deliver projects on time and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Work with the CD and predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Prepare timing based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Track project to meet timelines and prevent scope creep
  • Develop and manage a project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Manage outside vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Manages digital projects for Westgate Resorts of varying level of efforts
  • Handle ad-hoc projects related to digital functionality, process management & optimization, training, and the like.
  • Learn industry trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in, marketing, creative, business, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of project management and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with Asana project management platform or equivalent
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Good familiarity with digital marketing tactics and how they translate downwards to the creation of supporting assets (e.g. – Social Media campaigns on Instagram & Facebook use images that come in four different dimensions and headlines with a specific character count, etc.)
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Some familiarity with HTML/CSS is helpful, but not required
  • Adept at multi-tasking
