Bridge 2 Hope is seeking a full-time Data Analyst who is passionate about building a movement to disrupt the status quo that is being experienced by families with the St. Louis education system.

Bridge 2 Hope is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to disrupting education inequities. We do this by building parents’ ability to fight inequitable systems and policies in education.

What You’ll Do

The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data and presenting information to help inform program development and to funders, improve decision-making, and measure program effectiveness and impact. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of data and will be able to use analytical skills to identify patterns, trends and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Management:
  • Gather, organize, and maintain large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement efficient data collection systems and processes to streamline data.
  • Conduct regular data audits to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from a variety of sources to support program development, decision-making, and measure program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure data is accurately captured and recorded in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement methods for data quality control and integrity.
  • Enter and create new parent data and linking data when needed.
  • Data Reporting and Tracking
  • Track and apply data updates received via surveys, events, and other forms.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date data collection and reporting systems and calendar.
  • Data Visualization
  • Analyze program data to identify trends and insights and provide regular reports to management.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and other data visualizations to help communicate insights and trends.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and data analysis tools and methods.
  • Data Governance and Compliance
  • Work with external partners to know what is needed, obtain necessary data and ensure data sharing agreements are in place.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies regarding data handling and privacy.
  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor data security measures and take appropriate actions to safeguard data against unauthorized access or breaches.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within data management workflows.
  • Participate in professional development activities, such as attending workshops or training sessions, to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar data experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a data specialist role.
  • Proven experience working as a Data Specialist, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, Every action or other non-profit systems), Google Docs, Mail chimp,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment at times.
  • Passion for social justice and equity in education.
  • Previous experience in a non-profit organization is preferred.
