Dieter Insurance Group Allstate Insurance Agency is the largest Allstate Agency in Iowa with three locations, and is continuing to grow.

We are one the top producing Allstate agency in IA and are consistently recognized in the top 1% of agencies in the country for both growth and customer satisfaction. In 2021 and 2022 we tied for Top in the Country out of 10,000 agencies.

We are now accepting resumes for Sales Agents for all three agencies in Iowa (Dubuque, Cedar Rapids and North Liberty)

This position offers a competitive base salary + commission + bonuses + benefits including health care options. Agents earn around $50-65,000 per year on average. However; our top Agents earn $70,000 to $100,000 and beyond.

You will receive outstanding training and support and provided every resource necessary to be successful.

Tim Dieter's number one goal has always been to take care of those on our team, and this is followed closely by making sure our clients have an EXTRAORDINARY experience during every interaction with our team. This experience starts with our Agents who help welcome new clients to our agency family.

As a part of our team, your job will be to help the customer secure the best policies with appropriate coverage to protect them and their families. In other words, you will become a trusted advisor.

Salary Range: $70000.00 - $100000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Develop and cultivate ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Earn, and then ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.

  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Be a fantastic presenter.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Career minded vision-development towards Sales Leadership, Agency Management or even Agency Ownership is possible for the right candidate.
  • Willing to spend 75% or more of time on the phone
