Position Description: Business Analyst (Part Time/Temporary)
PVS Nolwood Chemicals, Inc., one of the Midwest’s leading chemical distributors, is seeking a part-time (summer months) Business Analyst for the Sharonville, OH branch location. We are seeking a candidate who will enjoy working with operational, finance, sales, and customer service teams to identify opportunities, problem solve with sales representatives and customers alike, develop sound business cases and drive measurements of actions to continuously improve.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Provide sales and Customer service support to assigned accounts – establish and maintain connections and provide solutions to customer issues as needed.
· Product pricing vs cost exercise for every sales rep and every account.
· Assist territory sales reps in making cold calls.
· Reviewing totes by product to confirm correct tote ROIs are in place by each account.
· Continuous process improvement.
· Other to be determined projects.
Qualifications
· Some college required. Preferably completed or near completion of a business-related bachelor’s degree.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quick in learning, and able to work under pressure.
· Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
· Must be very detail oriented.
· Must work well as part of a team and a desire to be a positive and friendly service provider.
· Must be punctual with excellent attendance.
· Must be flexible and able to assist other departments as needed.
· Strong knowledge of computers, especially Microsoft Excel.
