Hello Caregivers!

Do you love babies? Are you looking for a family to stay and grow with? We've got a perfect position open! Our Topsfield family is seeking a loving and reliable nanny for their 7 month old son. We are assisting with the search for a perfect caregiver to grow with baby and become a long term part of their growing family. Candidates must be able to commit to at least 1 year, ideally longer term. Infant experience is a must have! Ideal candidates are experienced with age appropriate developmental activities and conscious of keeping babies engaged, growing, and meeting milestones. Candidates must be open communicators and comfortable with parents sometimes working from home. Candidates must be comfortable with 2 small dogs in the home. We would love to hear from candidates that are open to occasional evening hours as well as very occasional over-nights during work travel.

Hours: 30 hours per week guaranteed! Monday-Thursday full days + flexible Fridays- some half days, some Fridays off. There is some flexibility with exact hours on full days- but likely some variation of 8:30-4, 9-4, 9-5, etc.

Charges: 7 month old boy

Rate: $25 per hour

Benefits: Paid holidays, paid vacation time, guaranteed paid hours (even if family does not need coverage all 30 hours)

Job description:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for baby
• Lots of play, activities, and general engagement!
• Tidying up after baby and work day
• Bathing and dressing
• Preparing bottles, meals, and snacks
• Indoor and outdoor play
• Stimulating activities and age appropriate games
• Facilitating age appropriate developmental activities- crafts, singing, reading, etc.
• Walks and local outings
• Playdates, groups, or classes
• Baby's laundry as needed

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Active, energetic, LOVES BABIES!
• Organized, motivated and task-driven
• Non-smokers only, please.
• Must have safe and reliable vehicle to transport baby as needed. Family will provide car seat.
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Cheery and Helpful Disposition
• Background Check (provided by agency)
• Driving Record (provided by agency)
• Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
