Job Description

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented, property management professional to join a vintage apartment community in the First Hill area of Seattle as a Part-Time Assistant Property Manager. We’re a well-established Property Management Company, strong believers in promoting from within, and have built a great sense of community to work in.

We are looking for an organized, energetic, self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and takes ownership in all aspects of their work. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service and leasing or sales talents, the ability to multitask, and respond with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response with superb communication and problem-solving skills. They will be highly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative, collaborative work style, and have strong worth ethic. This candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and hospitality and exceeding people's expectations and find great satisfaction in helping to create community. Position requires occasional weekend availability.

Requirements for this leasing position include a minimum of 2 years' experience in leasing and/or property management, excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.

The Full-Time Assistant Property Manager is responsible for leasing including but not limited to:

  • coordinating all activities related to marketing and advertising available rentals
  • scheduling and showing units
  • screening applicants
  • move-ins and move-outs
  • lease signings
  • lease renewals
  • daily and direct interaction with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention
  • rent collection
  • generating and distributing letters and/or notices
  • managing sensitive and/or confidential information



Schedule:


  • Ability to work in office Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM
  • Successful candidates will be open to hosting open houses on other days or times, as needed

Experience:


  • Property Management Experience – 2 years
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, etc.
  • Basic understanding of minor maintenance needs
  • Time-management and organizational skills
  • Experience with RealPage/OneSite a plus!


Compensation: TBD Hourly
