Lehr Auto receives new factory stock vehicles and transforms them into highly specialized emergency vehicles needed to protect and serve our communities and first responders. With 5 locations in the western region, this job offers an abundance of opportunities for learning and growth.

Lehr Auto is the leading upfitter for emergency vehicles in the Western region and we rely on the efficiency of our fulfillment process in the warehouse. To deliver on our high level of performance, we rely on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people. This position oversees operations at our Reno warehouse in Nevada. If you are a skilled multitasker and can manage the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities of the warehouse while ensuring that quality standards are met or exceeded, this position is for you! The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to manage multiple facets of warehouse operations simultaneously.


Schedule

  • Full Time-Hourly
  • Typical Schedule is Monday- Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.; some overtime required.

Compensation

  • $55K - $75K; DOE

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team.
  • Manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
  • Meet regularly with warehouse team to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of products.

Attributes of a Strong Candidate:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three or more years of experience in a warehouse role managing hourly employees.
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
  • Work collaboratively with all levels of company staff and management.
  • Deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently while in a team environment.
  • The desire to be a part of a positive working culture and team.
  • Attention to detail.
