DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operates all vehicle equipment trucks in a safe and effective manner in order to

minimize risk of inquiry, property damage or loss of life.

• Transports all collected solid waste to the landfill.

• Performs daily safety and maintenance checks, assisting with the repairs of the

solid waste collections trucks.

• Maintenances a daily log of maintenance and repair activities.

• Maintains a daily record of all solid waste pick-ups and deposits.

• Cleans solid waste collection trucks as scheduled or required.

• Performs duties in a safe manner and in accordance with Authority safety

requirements.

• Interacts in a courteous manner with customers and members of the public.

• Assist in implementing the Authority rules and procedures.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited school is required

• One (1) year of related experience.

• A valid US Virgin Islands Class E Driver’s License is required.
