Job Description

As a Product Delivery Business Analyst, you will focus on coordinating stakeholders to collect requirements needed to drive solutions. Being part of the Field Performance Product team, you will be working in conjunction with our internal partners creating a unified OneChase experience for Field Management.

You will play a key role in supporting the Product Owner and Area Product Owners to articulate both business and technical product needs, authors epics, details user stories, and prioritizes the roadmap. Using deep product and customer knowledge, collaborates with development teams to ensure delivery of solutions from research through release. Understands Product features, identifies any potential issues and advises on potential solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists team in ownership of features and solutions through end-to-end product development lifecycle (ideation, implementation, maintenance, release and support)
  • Applies strong product and customer knowledge of feature and ability to help the team drive allocation of highest value delivery requirements
  • Strong understanding of product needs. Partners with PO/APO and team in the articulation of product through intake/discovery, the translation of initiatives, authoring/writing of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization of stories and grooming/maintenance of a healthy backlog
  • Ability to facilitate requirements discussions and help PO/APO to document, analyze and translate functional and non-functional requirements from product/customer roadmap into user stories, diagrams, buildable functions/features and other deliverables as needed as an outcome of product strategy (e.g., customer, operational, organizational, etc.)
  • Facilitates forums to drive the gathering of additional details, answering business questions and coordinating collaboration with business stakeholders to facilitate decisions
  • Actively contributes to meetings and work with product owners, scrum teams, project business sponsors, end-users and others as necessary to perform assignments
  • Assists the team as needed to complete stories and with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions
  • Assists in QA and development of tests and ongoing testing activities, clarifying acceptance criteria and use cases as needed to meet team goals.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products
  • Ability to think strategically and to connect the dots to the bigger picture, while still comfortable diving into the details required to ensure successful execution
  • Proven success in collaborating, influencing and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with track record of driving results through cross-functional organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines whilst working across senior levels of the organization
  • Excellent quantitative, critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills - as well as written and verbal communication and project management skills
  • Professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a 'can-do' attitude

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 7+ years' experience in financial services, product management and/or Agile software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Business Management or comparable field of study
  • Knowledge of agility delivery frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
  • Agile backlog management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Strong Business and Technical communication

Candidates must be able to physically work in our Columbus, OH, Wilmington, DE or New York, NY offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined by direct management.
