Job Summary


To monitor the adherence to the pool rules by all homeowners and their guests who visit the Clubhouse Pools/Spas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Pay: $ 16 /Hour **PT/Seasonal *Tuesday-Sunday 1 pm-7 pm (30 hours a week)

Location: Reno (Residential Community)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • To be visible and accessible at all times throughout the shift.
  • To provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere to residents and their guests.
  • To know and fully understand ALL rules associated with the Clubhouse Pools/Spas.
  • To oversee the behavior of all residents and guests making sure the behavior is within the guidelines set forth in the Pool Rules.
  • To inform residents & guests of essential rules that they may have overlooked or violated in a forthright and agreeable manner.
  • To ensure all areas associated with pool usage are safe.
  • Arrange and maintain all pool furniture during the course of each shift.
  • Verify member access cards and enforce guest limit.
  • Completes accident/incident forms for all incidents in a timely manner when required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities


  • Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.
  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
  • May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience


High School Diploma preferably.

Valid California Driver's License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance

  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Some exposure to sunlight, water, and noise.
  • Consistent and regular attendance required.
  • Overtime may occur from time to time, based on business needs.
  • Standard attire is T-shirt (provided) and solid color (tan or black) swimming trunks. No cut-offs or denim shorts.
