RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Maintains inventory primarily in inpatient units, replenishes supply carts, issues storeroom supplies and assists in general storeroom functions as necessary. Supports nursing units and hospital departments by ensuring that managed supply locations are well stocked and free from expired supplies.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment, using an electronic inventory management system or previous healthcare materials management experience is preferred. Ability to operate office equipment, computers, fax, copier, etc. required. Must be able to adapt to change at a rapid pace, and perform work functions with considerable interruptions. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and push wheeled carts weighing up to 800lbs over hard surfaces.
