Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineer to work in the Corporate Process Improvement Engineering team in North Mankato, MN.
This opportunity provides the challenge of working directly with various Taylor companies in optimizing production processes utilizing Lean and Six Sigma tools. Expected travel of 25 to 50% by providing onsite leadership with our Taylor companies all around the US.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Plans and oversees the layout of equipment, office, and production facilities.
  • Conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization.
  • Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Will report to an engineering manager.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited program in Industrial Engineering (IE) or Manufacturing Engineering with IE emphasis
  • 2+ years of experience in the field or a related area
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
  • Experience using AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
  • Good statistical knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
We Would Also Prefer:
  • Knowledge of Printing and Fulfillment operations is a plus.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience
