Join our team as a Industrial Engineer in the Rincon, GA Fulfillment Center! This position supports and leads process improvement projects for all Pon Bike North America facilities. Provides leadership and support to continuous improvement initiatives at the plant level including studies to analyze current process flow, developing standards, providing input for the development of functional layouts that minimize space, material transit, distance, and labor utilization. Evaluate and propose future-state capital equipment and process redesign. Act as consultant to business process improvements.
Below are some (but not all) of the key responsibilities of this role:
Manages multiple projects simultaneously and possibly within multiple facilities. Responsible for, but not limited to, the following aspects of assigned projects: financials, schedules, vendor coordination, implementation, team updates, problem solving, resources and services, data analysis, and reports.
Lead Kaizens and Green Belt projects.
Facility and/or system-specific equipment long range planning. Perform research and analysis on both current equipment and new technology available for implementation in existing operations. Prepare capital expenditure documentation (business case).
Maintains and monitors current working standards on a continuous basis; conduct follow-up studies to verify and validate standards.
Support and co-implement 5S, visual management, and other lean tools as needed.
Consults on facility specific layout changes by developing CAD layouts of proposed changes and interacting with DC operations teams to develop optimal solutions
Researches and maintains knowledge of emerging industry practice.
Follow internal controls and company policies set by Pon Bike.
Contributes to the success of Pon Bike by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Bachelor's Degree required in Industrial Engineering, operations analysis, logistics, supply chain or related field from accredited institution.
3-5 years experience as an industrial engineer, operations/business analyst or consultant.
Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred) trained and certified, with at least 2-3 successful projects completed.
Strong communication skills; develop and articulate (written and verbal) data/process analysis, and alternative solutions. Ability to lead others to a consensus and influence change. Capable of collecting, assimilating, and validating relevant business/operating information.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; identify root causes and drivers.
Warehouse operations knowledge (WMS - Warehouse Management System, warehouse design, material handling equipment and storage media technologies, pick methodology).
