Acara Solutions is looking for a Electronic Test Technician for our client located in Pinellas Park, FL 33782
$16-$18 hr
Temp/Hire
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems and assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering and micro-welding equipment by routes and ties wires to form wire harness.
- Reads instructions, such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
- Apply crimping, sealing liquid, or soldering to secure components.
- Insert cable in plastic tubing or inject plastic sealant around terminals to protect cable from dust and moisture.
- Test wiring continuity, using continuity tester.
- Mark identifying data on completed product for stock inventory or delivery to customers.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
- Selects components/wires of specified color, marking, or length, and loops wires between guides.
- pegs on harness board, following color-coded lines or sequential numbers on board or diagrams for assembly.
- Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for resistance factors and for operation, and record results.
- Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage areas.
- Identify, adjust, and repair/replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Assists with assembly procedures or techniques to explain to or train other workers.
- Selecting and using training/instructional methods and appropriate procedures.
- Understand and follow chemical safety requirements, and safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties assigned.
Pay and Benefits:
- The Salary for this position is $15.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronics testing
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in assembly.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques in manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical instructions.
- Ability to conduct quality control tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot to determine causes of operating errors and to decide on solution.
- Understanding of ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint or similar.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and schedules.
