We are looking for compassionate, energetic and reliable candidates to join our team and provide support in our assistive living home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, helping to maintain a safe and healthy environment, and providing emotional support. The ideal candidate should have patience, empathy, and have a passion for helping others.

Our Direct Support Professionals assist residents with:

• Communication needs

• Skills building
• Accessing community resources

This agency is MaineCare funded and qualifying applicants must meet the following State Requirements:

• Can pass all of the State of Maine required background checks
• Possess a high school diploma/equivalent
• Are of 18+ years of age
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Possess or be willing to acquire DSP certification
• Have certification or be willing to take training as a Mandated Reporters and have First Aid/CPR
• By State law, must be Covid 19 vaccinated

We support the right candidates through our free training program, as well as supervision and ongoing support to help those new to this field build their skills and knowledge so they can provide a positive environment for the residents living in the home.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
