The Principle Engineer is a critical member of any Agile Product Team. This role is accountable for leading within and across product teams for the technical solution design, implementation & continuous improvement of Pharma Tech systems in alignment with agile and DevOps principles, working closely with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineers, Release Managers and Product Director
The Principle Engineer lead is a “T-Shaped” role demonstrating both depth and breadth across key engineer competencies e.g. Cloud Hosting, Software Development, Testing, DevSecOps, CI/CD and Lifecycle Management, etc. and the ability to successfully collaborate with experts from other subject domains.
The role will have deep knowledge and experience of industry technologies, practices, and frameworks to understand business requirements for building Data Products in support of marketing and commercial objectives.
In addition, the individual must be knowledgeable in Architecture Design and Governance and to educate others. They also act as a buffer between the engineering team and product owner/manager and maintain a safe working environment for the team by helping with conflict resolution.
