General Description and Classification Standards
Deputy Commissioner of Strategy Planning, and Performance within the newly formed Atlanta Department of Transportation (ATLDOT). This role focuses on driving strategic allocation of resources and ensuring the achievement of the ATLDOT Strategic Transportation Plan. Duties include but are not limited to: providing professional and technical staff assistance, providing strategic advice to the Commissioner and/or Mayor’s Office, and managing key strategic initiatives for the department.
Supervision Received
Direction received is very general and focuses on strategic objectives and is typically collaborative in nature. This is a policy-making level of management and would be considered "upper" management.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
Preferred Education & Experience
Master’s Degree in engineering, urban planning, or related field. Extensive experience in municipal transit/transportation planning and design.
