About the role:

We are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to maintain financial records for our ownership group. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner, reconciling accounts, and producing financial statements for personal and related outside investments.

What you'll do:
  • Process bill payments (check & electronic), bank deposits and wire transfers
  • Record all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Quickbooks
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Maintain organized electronic files
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Manage list of charitable donations and maintain copies of donation letters
  • Prepare 1099s at year-end
  • Communicate financial information to family office management
What you'll need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of owner information
The salary range for this position is $21.00- $26.50 an hour. In addition, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
