Maple Block is seeking an exceptional Bartender and server to join us in launching our Full Liquor Bar!!!
After 6 years of success and serving beer and wine only this is a great opportunity for a
Bartender who has experience with food and the art of craft cocktails to join our growing team! We are a neighborhood restaurant loved by locals and visitors alike offering weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. This position requires someone who is detail oriented, fast on their feet and is invested in helping ensure all guests enjoy their experience.

-Report for duty on time and prepared for your shift, manage your time including taking rest and meal breaks in compliance with California Labor Law
- Respond to any menu/drinks questions with knowledgeable answers, deal with any service issues through your floor manager and communicate any unresolved issues to them at the end of the shift
- Know our regulars and encourage new guests to become regulars by establishing a rapport that includes the guests’ likes and dislikes
- Ability to use the restaurant point of sale system and troubleshoot problems.
- Food Handler Certified

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $25.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Serving Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
